About
I'm Miguel, a motion and graphic designer with roots in broadcast, sports, and entertainment. Currently creating for USA Network, SYFY, E!, and Oxygen True Crime under VERSANT Media, with a background that includes ABC News, Ogilvy, Microsoft, and Intel.
I've spent my career at the intersection of storytelling and design, building visuals that don't just look good but feel right for the brand, the audience, and the moment.
Services
— Motion Design
Design tells you what something is. Motion design tells you how it feels. The difference matters, especially in broadcast and entertainment where you have seconds to earn someone's attention and keep it. Good motion design doesn't just move. It means something.
— Graphic Design
Graphic design is the foundation everything else is built on. The logo, the type, the color, the layout. Get those wrong and nothing that follows can save it. Get them right and the whole thing holds together without anyone knowing why.
— Logo Design
A logo is the shortest version of everything a brand is trying to say. One mark, one moment, one chance to land. It has to work at 16 pixels and 16 feet. In color and in black and white. On screen and off.
Most people won't notice a great logo. They'll just trust the brand more because of it. That's the job.
— Toolkits
A motion design toolkit is what happens after the big idea gets approved. It's the system that makes sure everything built after it stays consistent, on brand, and usable by anyone on the team. Templates, components, guidelines. The infrastructure behind the look.
Without it, every deliverable starts from scratch. With it, the brand scales. A good toolkit doesn't limit creativity. It protects it.
