THE BOSTON STRANGLER: UNHEARD CONFESSIONS

The Boston Strangler is a limited true-crime documentary series on Oxygen that explores the infamous serial murders that terrorized Boston in the 1960s. The series revisits the investigation, key suspects, and lasting impact of the case through archival material, expert analysis, and dramatic storytelling.

Establishing the visual tone of the series began with designing and animating the in-show title sequence. This process involved developing multiple creative approaches and producing two alternate versions of the sequence to explore the best direction for the project. By refining the motion, pacing, and typography, the visuals were tailored to match the dark, investigative tone of the documentary. The project concluded with the delivery of final broadcast-ready title assets for seamless integration into the series.
