Scare Tactics (Season 1) on USA Network is a hidden-camera prank series that places unsuspecting participants into staged horror scenarios involving actors, special effects, and elaborate setups. The show blends comedy and suspense as participants react to seemingly terrifying situations that are ultimately revealed as pranks.
Animating the official key art for the Season 1 promotional campaign required a focus on the show’s unique horror-comedy tone while strictly adhering to the campaign’s established visual style. This included creating high-impact motion graphics for the Videotron billboard on Sunset Boulevard, which involved adapting the artwork for a large-scale digital display in Los Angeles. By developing animations that balanced the humor and tension of the series, the project effectively translated static assets into a dynamic experience for outdoor digital signage. The final motion assets were optimized and delivered for maximum visibility across various promotional platforms.
